A pre-application notice has been submitted for the construction of a sizeable mixed-use scheme outside Crossmaglen.
The economic development proposals – submitted in the name of Mr and Mrs McArdle – relate to lands North West of 59 Cullaville Road, Crossmaglen.
Due to the size of the development, the applicants have submitted the proposal of application notice (PAN) to Newry, Mourne and Down District Council for approval and express their intention to develop business/office units and light/general industrial and storage units with associated site works and landscaping.
The site extends to 2.8 hectares of which the plans could see 6,000 sqm of floorspace developed.
Letters containing details of the proposal and pre-application public event were sent to neighbours within 200m of the sites red line boundary week commencing August 25, 2025.
