Despicable thieves have plunged new depths by targeting a cemetery in south Armagh.
A limestone grave surround was stolen from a plot in St Patrick’s Graveyard, on the Newry Road in Crossmaglen.
The culprits struck sometime between Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, May 3.
After a very upsetting and distressing crime for the family, Constable Jeremy Dale appealed for help from the public.
He said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to this incident and can be contacted in Crossmaglen on 101, quoting ref: 559 030515.”
