A twenty-three-year-old man has been charged with a number of offences relating to an alleged hit-and-run incident last year.
Jody Dowzell from Annaghroe Road, Caledon is accused of driving without due care and attention as well as while unfit through drink or drugs.
It is further alleged he failed to remain at the scene of an accident in which injury was caused to another person and failed to report the matter to police.
All charges relate to an incident close to Dowzell’s home on September 15, 2021.
A police officer familiar with the facts of the case told Dungannon Magistrates’ Court all charges could be connected.
No further information surrounding the alleged offending was disclosed.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan remanded Dowzell on continuing bail until March when he is to enter guilty or not guilty pleas.
