Dungannon couple rub shoulders with Love Islanders at glitzy London party

Many know the Love Islanders… those glamorous few singletons who head off to the Spanish isle of Mallorca to couple-up, un-couple and re-couple in the popular ITV series hosted by Maya Jama.

And while we might all be familiar with their faces (and their antics) one lucky Dungannon woman has had the incredible opportunity to meet the stars of the Season 12 show after being announced as one of two winners of a Nescafé competition.

That unbelievably excited and die-hard Love Island fan is 21-year-old Stephanie Duggan who entered the TikTok prize draw on a whim just over a month ago.

The big announcement came on July 25, when Stephanie received a message saying: “Congratulations you are the lucky winner of our recent Nescafe promotion.”

And she couldn’t believe her luck!

The prize came in two parts with the first being that Stephanie received a hamper including one of each of the NescafĂ© Espresso Concentrated range and the second was two tickets to the “once in a lifetime” Love Island Meet & Greet Party in London!

The party – which took place at a stunning Shoreditch hotel on August 14 – celebrated all of this season’s islanders and gave Stephanie and her boyfriend Frankie – who she elected to bring along – the chance to meet with each of them and soak up all the glitz and glamour!

Speaking to Armagh I, Stephanie explained that both her and Frankie have been glued to the entire season from day one: “I have been watching it from it started on June 9.

“I didn’t miss a single show when it came on!”

And while she admitted she was “very nervous” ahead of the event, she couldn’t wait to meet her favourites, Megan and Dejon.

It was an all expenses paid trip with flights, accommodation, transfers and breakfast in the morning.

Snap-happy Stephanie was all too happy to whip out her phone to record as much of the evening as possible. It’s been a whirlwind but she’s enjoyed every second of it!
