A man has been arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in the Moy area on Friday, July 18.
Following a search at a property in the Ardean Manor area, approximately 300 cannabis plants were found.
A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences including cultivation of cannabis possession of a class B controlled drug, possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of a class B controlled drug.
“He remains in police custody at this time.
“Targeting drugs supply is a priority for the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
“Our investigation into this discovery is ongoing, and I would ask any member of the public who has any information, which could be of assistance to police to contact the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1261 18/07/26.
“Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
