A County Tyrone woman has admitted a number of charges relating to domestic abuse dating back over a year.
Amanda Cavlin (53) from Meadowview, Moy accepted behaving in an abusive manner, likely to cause fear or alarm and persistently using a communications network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety.
Offending occurred on June 28, 2025.
No further details surrounding the circumstances of the offences were disclosed during the brief hearing before Dungannon Magistrates Court.
A defence solicitor explained representations had been made to the PPS to establish if an alternative disposal would be suitable, but this was “To no avail.”
On that basis guilty pleas were entered on Cavlin’s behalf to both charges.
The defence suggested pre-sentence reports would be helpful given the nature and background of offending.
District Judge Francis Rafferty agreed and warned Calvin not to miss any appointments with Probation Services for the preparation of the reports.
Sentencing will take place on September 30.
