A County Tyrone company will next month outline publicly detailed plans for a huge £8 million expansion which could create up to 150 jobs.
The Dungannon-based specialist joinery business has this week submitted a pre-application notice to Mid-Ulster Council highlighting its intentions.
The company, on the Mullaghbane Road, have informed council of a planned expansion of its manufacturing facility.
This will involve an extension to the existing factory unit, as well as the construction of two additional production units.
The huge investment would see a massive additional floorspace of just under 240,000 sq feet.
Local political representative have been informed of the online pre-application notice plan and neighbours are to be notified by leaflet drop.
Woodmarque was founded by the Quinn family in 1977 and currently employs 58 staff.
But the proposed developments, due to be highlighted shortly in more detail online, will see in the region of 150 more much-needed jobs being created over the next five years.
The proposals will also include facilities for associated storage and distribution, office and research and development accommodation, car parking and servicing areas.
There will also be access improvements, and all associated site earth works and landscaping.
The specialist joinery firm currently works in the hospitality, residential, office and retail sectors, supplying turn-key joinery solutions including fire doors, panelling, case goods and specialist joinery to a range of clients in the construction sector.
Recently completed projects include Intercontinental O2 Hotel, London, Lots Road Power Station on Chelsea Waterfront and Dublin Landings Apartments along North Wall Quay.

The public will be appraised in more detail when an online information event is staged on the website – www.woodmarqueconsultation.com – which is due to go live for six weeks, from February 15 until March 29.
Taking into the consideration the views of interested parties, an application seek full approval will then follow.
