Plans have been lodged for the extension of a children’s daycare centre in Dungannon.
Proposals have been lodged with Mid Ulster Council, on behalf of the applicant Jill Hessin, for the material change of use from residential dwelling and garage to creche.
Plans include a single storey rear extension with internal alterations and provision of a car parking area and access to lands at 52 Killyman Road.
The application, received last Friday, October 4, aims to increase provision at the Kiddiewinkles Daycare Centre on the Killyman Road by 88 children, with an additional 18 staff.
The application notes that the breakdown of ages would be approximately 12 0-2 year-olds, 16 2-5-year-olds and 60 children over the age of five.
It is hoped a decision will be made on the application before the end of January 2025.
The application is due to advertised in due course.
