If you attempted to access Facebook and Instagram this afternoon, you were probably asked to re-log in to your account, only to be met with an error message.
Thankfully, you’re not alone as, despite fears, that accounts had been hacked, the issue seems to be affecting hundreds of thousands of users across the globe.
The outages seemed to have began around 3pm this afternoon (Tuesday) and is ongoing, with some access to Facebook beginning to trickle in. Instagram and Meta Business Suite are still partially down.
