Three of Armagh’s historic clock towers are to be given a facelift.
The timepieces at the Shambles Market and Dobbin Street, as well as the Palace Stables, are to be refurbished, while windows at the Stables and the Abbey Street complex are to be redecorated.
Armagh City and District Council is planning the works and has now gone out to tender to seek suitable companies to carry the project through.
The deadline for receipt of submissions has been given as 12 noon on Tuesday, September 9.
