A fire broke out at the old Cullen’s Pub in Tandragee around 5am this morning.
Police have cordoned off the area and remain at the scene following the blaze.
A number of fire appliances were used to help extinguish the fire
The extent of the damage remains unknown at this stage.
The Madden Road in Tandragee re-opened around 9am and is passable with care following the incident in the town.
Cusher Councillor Gareth Wilson said: “This is the second time this property has been targeted in the last few weeks and I understand flammable liquid has been poured in to the property through a side window.
“This incident is yet another blight on the town of Tandragee and people are fast becoming tired of this continuing criminality.
“From recent meetings I have had with police I know that they are stepping up patrols on the town and I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious to contact the PSNI immediately.”
