A former English Premiership footballer will be training with Crossmaglen Rangers GFC as part of a reality TV show this week.
David Bentley, who retired from football at the age of 29, will be swapping roles with former Armagh GAA ace Aaron Kernan, who announced his retirement from the County footballing set-up last year.
The pair will be swapping lives, including jobs, during filming for BBC2’s eight-part ‘Trading Places’ show.
Kernan will be off to the Stadium of Light while the former Sunderland star Bentley will be turning out out with Crossmaglen for training.
Bentley will also be working with the Kernan family business, Kernan Property Services.
During his time with Sunderland FC, meanwhile, Aaron Kernan will get to catch up with the club’s chief executive Margaret Burns, who hails from Dromintee.
