Gardening equipment has been stolen during a burglary in Newtownhamilton and local police are appealing for information.
Constable Bell explained: “Sometime between 1.50pm and 3.30pm on Friday, 24 April, an out-house at a property on Ballynaclosha Road, Silverbridge, was entered. A red Castlegarden ride on lawnmower, a red Castlegarden electric mower, a petrol driven strimmer with cream coloured masking tape on the handles and a box of tools were taken.
“We would like to hear from anyone who has information in relation to the burglary or whereabouts of the stolen items. We can be contacted in Newtownhamilton on 101, quoting ref: 944 240415.
“We would also ask local residents to be vigilant. If you notice vehicles or activity in your area which looks out of place or doesn’t feel quite right, please phone us immediately on 101.”
