A LOTTO ticket bought in Co Armagh has scooped more than £100,000 – but time is running out for the buyer to claim their prize!
A windfall of precisely £102,843, from the big draw on Saturday, September 7, is awaiting the lucky ticket holder who matched five numbers and the bonus ball.
The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 1, 11, 12, 13, 35, 42 and the bonus ball was 5.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.
“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
The lucky holder has until Thursday, March 6, 2014 to claim their prize.
If the prize is not collected by the deadline, then the money, plus all the interest generated, will go to National Lottery Good Causes.
