Police are appealing for helping in finding the owner or driver of a car who grabbed a child in the driveway of their home in Co Tyrone this evening (Wednesday).
The incident happened at around 5.45pm this evening in the Drumenny Road area of Coagh.
The child had been playing in the driveway of the family home when a car approached and the driver grabbed the child by the arm.
When the child’s mother came out of the house, the man jumped back into the car and drove off.
He is described as being in his late 50s, over five feet eight inches tall, with short grey curly hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved red jumper and dirty jeans.
The man was driving a dark blue old style car, with five spoke alloy wheels. The car had a red letter ‘S’ on the boot.
