JCB set on fire in suspected arson attack in county Armagh

Police in Lurgan are appealing for information following an arson attack.

Around 12.40am on Monday, 20 April, police received a report of a fire at a building site on Lake Street, close to the train station.

The police attended along with NIFRS and found a telescopic JCB on fire.

Constable McAleavey explained: “The JCB was destroyed and we are treating this as arson. We would like to hear from anyone who has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 40 200415.”
