A lorry has crashed close to the border on the outskirts of Keady this morning (Wednesday).
The incident happened shortly after 10am on the Castleblayney Road, close to Mone Fuels filling station.
The heavy goods vehicle (HGV) left the road, crashing down an embankment, and narrowly avoiding a telephone pole in the process.
It is understood there was no other vehicles involved in the incident and the driver of the HGV has been uninjured.
However, the recovery is expected to take several hours to complete, which will result in a full road closure throughout the remainder of the morning and into the afternoon.
Diversions will be put in place but motorists are advised to avoid taking this route if possible.
This is an identical situation to one which saw a Carna Transport lorry recovered by Corr Brothers back in September 2017.
There are no further details at this stage.
