St Patrick’s High School, Keady is celebrating a period of outstanding success, marked by excellent examination results and a highly successful Open Afternoon that showcased the very best of their school community.
The staff are immensely proud of their students who achieved brilliant A-Level and GCSE results in the summer of 2025. These outcomes reflect not only their commitment, resilience and strong work ethic, but also the dedication and professionalism of teaching and support staff.
The achievements are a testament to the high expectations the school holds, the quality of teaching and learning across the school, and the strong partnerships between staff, students and families.
Alongside celebrating academic success, St Patrick’s High School was delighted to welcome prospective students and their families to their Open Afternoon on Thursday 15th January. Every department opened its doors and provided engaging activities specifically designed for P6 and P7 pupils. This allowed visitors to gain a genuine insight into life at St Patrick’s and experience the wide range of opportunities available to our current and prospective students.
The Open Afternoon gave younger pupils the chance to explore subjects that may be new to them, such as Technology and Home Economics, helping to spark curiosity and excitement about the next stage of their education. Experiencing these subjects first-hand helps pupils to feel more confident and informed as they prepare for the transition to post-primary school, while also highlighting the breadth of learning and practical skills developed at St Patrick’s.

Feedback from families was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on the warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere throughout the school. The current students played a central role in the success of the afternoon, representing St Patrick’s High School with pride. Visitors commented on how helpful, respectful and considerate they were to all, embodying the values the school strives to instil every day.
As they celebrate excellent examination results and the success of their Open Afternoon, they remain committed to provide a supportive, inclusive and inspiring environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
