In addition to resurfacing, other works such as drainage improvements will also be carried out.
Works will also be carried out beyond this point, including much needed drainage improvement and sections of resurfacing from Bachelors Walk to Tassagh Bridge.
Works will commence on Monday, January 6 and are to be completed by Friday, February 28.
The road will be closed to through traffic 8am-6pm daily, it will be open at evenings and weekends.
The first phase will see the enabling works followed by the resurfacing works.
