In this season of goodwill and after a year of much doom and gloom, the young people of St Patrick’s High School, Keady, have not been found wanting when it comes to helping others.
Pupils and staff at St Patrick’s High have dug deep to donate hundreds of items to support the homeless this Christmas.
In all, 150 rucksacks were filled with necessities including thermal blankets and sleeping bags, to help the homeless get through the festive period.
The rucksacks will be distributed by two local charities Heartship and The Welcome Organisation.
A special word of thanks must go out to all of the staff, students and their families as well as local businesses who have generously donated to this very worthy cause.
