Police have charged a 34-year-old man following a report of an assault in Keady on Friday.
The man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and failing to stop for police and dangerous driving.
He is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, April 29.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
A man was airlifted to hospital following an alleged assault in the Victoria Street area of the town.
The man, understood to have been from the town, was rushed by ambulance to the air ambulance which was stationed on the edge of Armagh – along the Keady Road.
His condition is unknown at this stage.
