A man was airlifted to hospital following a workplace incident in Keady this morning (Wednesday).
Emergency services rushed to the scene on the Clay Road, shortly before 11am.
The man was seriously injured on railings, the NI Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
One fire crew from Keady attended but the casualty had been released just prior to their arrival.
The crew assisted the NI Ambulance Service in moving the man to the air ambulance, which took him to hospital in Belfast.
The incident was dealt with by 11.50am. The severity of his injuries are unknown this evening.
Police Sergeant Irwin said: “One man was airlifted to hospital for treatment for his injuries.
“We will assist the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland as they conduct their enquiries.”
The Health and Safety Executive confirmed to Armagh I that they are “making enquiries” into the incident.
The latest workplace incident comes just a fortnight after two young men lost their lives locally.
Matthew Biggerstaff died while working at a concrete factory in Tandragee while Allister David Kelly passed away at Linden Foods in Dungannon.
