Police in Armagh are warning residents in the Keady area to be wary of men impersonating law enforcement officers in the area.
In comes as Gardai in Castleblayney investigate an incident that occurred this morning (Tuesday), at approximately 10.30am just beyond the border at Carnagh.
Two males purporting to be plain clothes members of An Garda Sìochàna called to the home of an elderly lady in the townland of Errybane.
They were allegedly trying to return money that had been recovered locally.
Thankfully other members of the family were also present and these bogus callers left empty handed.
The vehicle involved was a black Renault Clio, partial registration 12 KE ****.
PSNI are urging residents to keep an eye locally and to report suspicious behaviour immediately
