A 17-year-old boy is in a serious condition after being struck by a car in county Armagh late last night.
Now, police in Lurgan are appealing for information following the serious road traffic collision that occurred at Avenue Road, close to its junction with Demesne Avenue, on the evening of Wednesday, October 28.
At approximately 11.30pm, a pedestrian was in collision with a car.
The pedestrian, 17, was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are currently being closely monitored but are thought to be very serious at this time.
He was initially taken to Craigavon Hospital but has since been transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
Inspector Ray Shaw said: “I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Lurgan Police Station on the non emergency number 101.”
