Two others remain in hospital after sustaining serious injuries.

Among them is Callum’s father, Stevie Brennan, who was the official photographer for Lurgan Show.

All associated with the Show have been stunned by the tragedy which has unfolded and called for prayers for the family.

The say they have been “devastated” to learn of Callum’s death just seven weeks after the 2018 Show day.

They appealed via social media: “Stevie remains critically injured in hospital. Please pray for Stevie and the entire family circle. In our thoughts and prayers.”

Mr Brennan’s six-year-old son also remains in hospital this evening.

A PSNI spokesperson wants witnesses to come forward.

“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to contact local officers in Lurgan or the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 994 21/07/18,” said the spokesperson.

If anyone can help please contact the PSNI on the 101 number.

Carrick Primary School in Lurgan, which Callum attended, paid tribute, in a statement, saying: “Callum was a precious part of both his class and our whole school family in Carrick.

“We remember him in particular for his great smile, a love of football and a determination to learn so that he could achieve his goal of being a marine biologist.

“As a school community we are praying continually for his family circle, who were so obviously devoted to both boys.”

Lurgan Celtic also added its own words and said the club had been “deeply saddened and extend heartfelt condolences and thoughts to the Brennan and Morrow families at this tragic time”.

“Our prayers and thoughts are with you all, and at such times football pales into insignificance but the Lurgan Celtic family stand united in offering their support and condolences,” they added.

We at Armagh I would also ask that you hold the entire family in your thoughts and prayers tonight and in the days ahead.
