Cars and homes targeted in series of overnight burglaries in Co Armagh

Appeal to anyone with CCTV footage or information to get in touch with police

Police are appealing for information after burglars targeted homes and cars overnight.

Officers are investigating a series of incidents in Lurgan.

A number of houses and cars were broken into and attempts were made to break into others.

All happened sometime between 11pm last night (Friday) and 6am this morning.

Properties in the area of Collingwood Avenue, Collingwood Drive and Collingdale, were the targets.

No details are available at this stage as to what was stolen.

But police have made an appeal for information in a bid to catch the culprits.

A PSNI spokesperson wants anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area overnight to come forward.

They would also like to speak to anyone with CCTV who may have caught those responsible on camera.

Anyone who can help can contact the PSNI in Craigavon on the non-emergency number 101, quoting the serial number 384 of 13/10/18.

They are also reminding the public to keep houses and vehicles locked and secured at all times.
