A man was arrested in Lurgan in relation to the case of a missing 21-year-old woman in Ballymena.
The 26-year-old is currently helping police with their enquiries into the disappearance of Chloe Mitchell who was last seen in the Co Antrim town a week ago.
Chloe was last seen on Friday, June 2 at around 6.45pm in the Harryville area.
Searches, involving police, forensics and community volunteers, have resumed this morning (Friday).
Targeted searches have been carried out across a wide area including woodlands, buildings, and in and around a large stretch of the River Braid.
Forensics also scoured a a property in the James Street area of the town on Thursday evening.
The family have made numerous social media appeals over the last week.
PSNI Chief Inspector Arnie O’Neill said: “We are now aware that Chloe was last seen in the late hours of Friday, June 2 into the early hours of Saturday 3rd in Ballymena town centre.
“She was seen on CCTV walking in the direction of James Street.
“Chloe was wearing a green and black North Face style jacket, a white t-shirt, leggings and Nike trainers.”
K9 Search and Rescue NI are also involved in the search.
“We were requested to assist in the search for a missing person in the Harryville area of Ballymena yesterday evening.
“Search Dogs Max, Betsy and Rolo along with Search Technician searched areas of interest. Unfortunate Chloe remains missing at this time.”
