
A case involving charges from an alleged hijacking and kidnapping incident has been returned for trial.
Appearing for a committal hearing was Robert McKee (45) from Weaver Avenue, Donaghcloney is accused of taking control of a vehicle by force, threat or intimidation and unlawfully taking a male away against his will.
It is further alleged he drove while disqualified and on being stopped, assaulting a police officer.
Offending is alleged to have occurred on 25 January this year in an unnamed location in County Armagh.
No further details surrounding the circumstances of the incident were disclosed during the brief hearing.
A prosecuting lawyer told Craigavon Magistrates Court there is a case to answer which was agreed by District Judge Michael Ranaghan.
McKee spoke only to confirm his identity and that he understood the charges against him.
He declined to call witnesses or give evidence on his own behalf at this stage in proceedings.
Judge Ranaghan remanded him on continuing bail to appear for arraignment at Craigavon Crown Court on 2 October.
