
Fire crews have been battling a significant blaze at a derelict building in Lurgan overnight.
A number of appliances were called to the scene on Windsor Avenue shortly after 1am this morning.
It is understood a fire started in the upper part of the derelict building next to the New Haven café.
There have been no reports of any casualties as a result.
In the early hours of this morning, a police spokesperson, said: “Police and NIFRS are currently dealing with a significant fire to a building on Windsor Avenue, Lurgan.
“The public are advised to avoid the area until further notice to allow the fire to be managed safely. Windsor Avenue is currently closed.”
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
