Four people who were unconscious at Lurgan Park were taken to Craigavon Area Hospital where one of them became disorderly after coming round.
Jordan Dunleavey (20), of Mountview Drive in Lisburn, committed disorderly behaviour on April 24 this year.
After coming round “from a suspected overdose” the defendant was aggressive to staff at the hospital.
He was shouting and swearing in the resuscitation department where there were “sick patients”.
A defence lawyer said the defendant, who had a record, was “shocked and horrified” at what he had done.
The lawyer said the defendant is trying to address “mental health issues”.
He said the defendant had lost his brother in “tragic circumstances”.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan said: “This was obviously very significant offending especially given where it happened and who was affected. That behaviour was no doubt drug and alcohol fuelled.
“I am very much alert to the tragic circumstances which followed very short on the heels of that and the very personal connection you had both with the person and the event itself, I will put it like that. But none of that is an excuse.”
The defendant was put on Probation for 18 months.
