The founder of a Co. Armagh mental health charity has said their awareness-raising, community fun day at the weekend was a ‘fantastic success’.
Just A Chat celebrated their second anniversary at the Glenavon FC pitch in Lurgan on Sunday (April 28) with those of all ages enjoying the wide range of activities on offer.
The charity was set up by Craigavon man Conor Hegarty and his wife in 2022 to help raise awareness and support for mental health issues in the ABC Borough – and sometimes further afield.

Special guests Black Paddy and Sam Madden also made an appearance, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
The event was sponsored by McMillen Driver Training, Friendly Faces, J300 Nutrition and DMD Music School, with the pitch kindly granted by Glenavon FC.
Speaking to Armagh I, founder Conor said: “Our birthday event was a massive success at Glenavon FC with our Under 11 tournament featuring 18 youth teams from all over and the fun day bringing the community together to celebrate our charity and raise awareness of mental health in our community.
“It was great to see so many people from the surrounding communities coming together to celebrate. We look forward to doing this again soon.”
