Police are appealing for help in finding those who destroyed a life-saving defibrillator in Co Armagh.
It had been located on the Eurospar at William Street in Lurgan.
But sometime overnight on Saturday and into Sunday morning, it was ripped from the wall, criminally damaged and “put out of use”, according to the PSNI’s Chief Burrows.
He has appealed to anyone with information to come forward, describing it as a “despicable crime”.
Chief Burrows said: “I’ve put extra officers into that investigation. We are determined to track down the person responsible for that and bring them to justice.”
Anyone with information can contact the PSNI on the non-emergency number 101.
