Tributes have been paid to a 23-year-old Donaghcloney man who passed away suddenly on holiday.
Ross Aaron Gray – who passed on April 14 – has been described as a “true gentleman” and the “loveliest soul” by those who knew him.
The tragic news has prompted an outpouring of grief across the small, rural Co Down community, with may left struggling to come to terms with his loss.
According to a death notice, Ross Aaron ‘Rossi’ was one of eight siblings and was “best friend” to his mum Lindsey.
Many have taken the time to share their fond memories of the young man, pass on their sincere condolences and pray for his family and friends.
Said a close friend: “Brother by heart not by blood. I’ll cherish all our memories love u and miss u always.”
Another added: “Missing u already Rossi. We were very proud to have you in our lives and will forever hold on to the memories we had. I hope u r at peace now cuz. Thinking of the entire family.. may your nanny be waiting for that beautiful smile.”
Others have described him as a “lovely young fella” and “handsome young man”.
A death notice described him as the loving son and best friend of Lindsey and step dad Colin. Son of Aaron, much loved brother of Rio, Tyana, Emi, Cyrus, Ena, Missie and Sye, cherished grandson of Patricia, Tony and Gaius, also Matthew and the late Yvonne.
His funeral service will take place in St Columba’s Parish Church, Portadown on Tuesday April 21, at 1pm followed by committal in Kernan Cemetery.
