After facing hardship and a move across the country, a man from Middlesborough - who now calls Lurgan his home - has shown how hardship can turn into opportunity by building his own 'Taxee' app.
Kieran Oliver faced many challenges growing up after the passing of his mum. In 2023, Kieran's extended County Armagh family invited him over to stay and gave him a 'lifeline' to help support him through difficult times - and what was supposed to be a two week holiday turned into a new chapter for Kieran who never returned to England.
With just a single backpack of clothing to his name, in three short years Kieran has changed his life around, gaining a partner, mortgage, car and becoming a dad in that time.
When Kieran first moved over here, the biggest hurdle he faced was not having a car and realising the struggle it was to simply get from point A to B having to rely on taxis which he described as a 'nightmar...
