A 19-year-old man is to appear in court this following following multiple stabbing incidents in Lurgan earlier this week.
Detectives have charged the 19-year-old over two violent incidents on Monday evening.
The teenager is to appear at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court via videolink this morning (Wednesday) on three charges of attempted murder and one charge of possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
As is usual procedure all charges will be reviewed by a Public Prosecution Service.
Speaking on Monday, Inspector Conway said: “Shortly before 8:25pm, it was reported to police that one man in his 40s had received stab wounds at the Union Street area of the town and one man aged in his 20s had received stab wounds at the Windsor Avenue area. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries.”
