A woman with a Lurgan address is due to be sentenced for attempted shoplifting.
Margaret McGovern (34), of Derry Lodge Manor, attempted to steal goods worth £66 from Gordon’s Chemist on March 18 last year.
On April 4, 2025, she attempted to steal goods worth £84 from Tesco.
Sentencing had been deferred from last summer.
The case had been adjourned until Friday but the defendant was not in attendance.
A defence barrister said the incidents were connected to the defendant’s drug addiction.
The case, at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court, has now been further adjourned to January 9.
