A Lurgan woman has been given a suspended jail term for supplying cannabis.
Danielle Walsh, 34, of Ben Crom, also admitted possessing cannabis.
The offences were committed on June 12 last year.
A prosecutor told Craigavon Magistrates’ Court police saw a male leaving the defendant’s address and suspected a “drug deal” may have taken place.
The male was detected with drugs which were the “exact same type” of herbal cannabis found wrapped in kitchen roll during a search of the defendant’s home.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan said five days before the offences the defendant had been at court for similar matters.
A defence lawyer said the defendant was supplying to people including “close friends” for “little or no profit”.
He said the mum had been using cannabis herself for “health issues” and she has been off cannabis since last October.
He added: “I am told she has very much left this life behind”.
The defendant was given a four months jail term, suspended for a year.
