A man charged with attempted robbery of a shop in Moira will appear in court later today (Wednesday).
Detectives investigating an attempted armed robbery in in the Main Street area of Moira on Monday, July 12, have charged an 28-year-old man with attempted robbery, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
He is to appear before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 18 August).
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
