Model Terezita dazzles on ITV’s prime time date show Take Me Out

She may not have landed herself a date on the prime time TV show, but a young County Armagh woman has had no shortage of offers since the cameras stopped rolling.

Twenty-one-year-old Terezita Doherty was one of the 30 girls looking for a trip to ‘Fernando’ with the potential man of their dreams.

The model, who lives in Lurgan, never failed to dazzle on ITV’s Take Me Out.

The show, which sees a series of men try to impress a panel of girls in the hope of winning a date, is watched by millions of viewers every week.

The boys get to show off their talents in the hope that, at the end of the round, some of the girls have left their lights on and he gets to pose a question to just two – selecting the girl who answers best for a trip to fabled Fernando.

Terezita – who works at Debenhams at Rushmere Shopping Centre in Craigavon – did not win a date.

But she fully enjoyed the experience of appearing on the show.

She has even admitted to having a soft spot for the show’s host, funnyman Paddy McGuinness.

She told Sunday Life: “Paddy is such a babe — I definitely fancy him a wee bit.

“He’s quite flirty but we were warned that he’s a married man so you can’t flirt with him too much or you’ll get taken off the shows. I’m sure a few girls would have tried if they’d got the chance though. I know I would have! As you got to know him, though, it was like he was your big brother. He was so much fun.”

She has also been inundated with offers from guys looking to take her out on a date since she filmed two weeks ago.

Terezita, who only agreed to go on for a bit of fun, says the reaction has been hard to take in and both her Facebook and Twitter accounts have seen her being sent messages from complete strangers.

“Guys have messaged me asking if I want to go on a date with them which has been a bit weird considering I don’t have a clue who they are but it’s always nice to have a few offers,” she added.
