A woman has been mugged while walking alone through the centre of Lurgan.
Two males “forcibly took” her handbag as she mad her way along William Street at around midnight on Wednesday.
The culprits ran off down an alleyway into Ulster Street.
Police want help to catch them and the PSNI in Craigavon made an appeal via their Facebook page.
“This was an understandably terrifying experience for the lady, and those responsible should be found and held to account quickly,” they said.
“No one has a right to take things that don’t belong to them, and we’d very much like to put these boys in cuffs.
“If you saw this incident, or saw two males running with a bag on William Street or Ulster Street around midnight, please call us on 101 quoting incident 706 of 26/05/16. Equally, if you hear anything in relation to this, no matter how small, give us a ring.”
