A full file has been submitted to the Public Prosecution Service (PPS) in the case against a Lurgan woman accused of attempted murder.
Twenty-six-year-old Karla Hanratty, of Derry Street, appeared via video link from Hydebank Wood Prison to hear the update before Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Hanratty is accused of the attempted murder of a man in the Lurgan area on February 21, 2026.
Defence counsel explained that Hanratty had made a counter-allegation which had “held up the file”.
However, the prosecution explained that the full file was submitted to the PPS on July 21 and four weeks is now needed for it to be received and allocated.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan agreed to take the case to August 21.
Hanratty is not required to be produced on that date.
