Sister’s heartfelt tribute to young Lurgan woman who ‘touched the hearts of many’

Natalie White from Lurgan

A young Lurgan woman, who passed away following a long and courageous battle with illness, “lit up every room she walked into and touched the hearts of many”.

Those were the words of the heartbroken sister of Natalie White who died peacefully in hospital on Thursday, July 3.

Natalie, of Burren Close, was the cherished daughter of Roberta and the late Adrian, and the dearly loved sister of Claire, Kyle, and Darryl.

Natalie will be remembered by all who knew her for her warmth and kindness, she was a light in every life she touched, her compassion boundless, and her creativity left a mark on many, whether through her gifted hands as a hairdresser or the small, thoughtful gestures for friends.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Natalie paid tribute to “one of life’s true angels”, a “beautiful soul”, someone who “always spoke with kindness” – not to mention that “infectious laugh”.

From childhood friends to long-time neighbours, the outpouring of love has been heartfelt. Many recall growing up in Lurgan alongside her, attending school together, and sharing memories of her gentle heart, love for animals – which was evident right up until the end.

“A beautiful girl with the biggest heart,” said one friend.

Another simply wrote: “You fought the fight… now it’s time to rest easy.”

Natalie’s Funeral Service will take place in Malcomsons Funeral Home on Monday, July 7 at 12pm, followed by interment in Kernan Cemetery. The house is strictly private, but family and friends are welcome to share their condolences in Malcomsons Funeral Home on Sunday between 5pm and 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations, if desired, to Cancer Fund for Children, c/o Malcomsons Funeral Service, 7 Robert Street, Lurgan, BT66 8BE.

Natalie will be lovingly remembered always by her mother Roberta, siblings Claire, Kyle and Darryl, the wider family circle, and her many, many friends.

May she Rest in Peace.
