Tragic Co Armagh teenager to be laid to rest day after he was due to turn 20

A teenager who was tragically struck by a train and killed will be laid to rest a day after he was due to turn 20.

The family of 19-year-old Shea Martin will lay their son to rest on Friday morning following his untimely passing on Monday morning.

He had been struck by a 6.30am Belfast-bound train at a railway crossing at Bells Row in Lurgan, close to his Belvedere Manor home in the town.

Funeral mass for the former Lismore Comprehensive School student will be held for Shea at midday at St Peter’s Church, North Street with interment afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Shea’s funeral will leave from his late residence at 277 Belvedere Manor, Lurgan at 11.15am.

He was the beloved son of Tracy and Liam and dear brother of Liam and Maria.

His passing is deeply regretted by his loving parents, sister, brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and family circle.
