Tributes have flooded in following the sudden death of a county Armagh teenager.
Fintan McCabe, 17, died suddenly in Craigavon Area Hospital on Thursday afternoon.
His funeral will take place on Tuesday at 10 30am from his late residence to St Paul’s Church for 11am.
Tributes have flooded in for the much-loved and popular teenager.
Members of the New Era Martial Arts Club posted a message saying: “Yesterday we found out that a student, team mate sadly passed away. Rest in peace fin you were a good lad and a pleasure to teach. You will be sadly missed by all of us at New Era.”
Another posted: “Rest in peace to one of my childhood friends Fintan McCabe. We made so many wonderful unforgettable memories still can’t believe I’m typing this so soon in life your journey was just beginning. I remember back in the day when we done bike riding, football, and wrestling these are the things I will remember until the end of time R.I.P bro. GBNF. Until we meet again.”
One post read: “I seen my best friend at peace. I thought it would have killed me but at the moment I realised he was at peace and I know he has found his way.”
Another said: “You brought so much happiness and laughter in this world by making everyone’s day including mine, not a day goes by I wouldn’t be thinking of you.. rip “MC Finty” you’ll never be forgotten.”
Fintan was the son of Peter and Linda from Silverwood Drive in Lurgan. The much-loved brother of Dominic, Rebecca and Peadar and loving boyfriend of Megan McGoldrick
His family have asked for family flowers only with donations in lieu if desired to Intensive Care Unit Craigavon Area Hospital c/o Jack McLearnon & Son Funeral Directors, 75 North Street Lurgan BT67 9AH or donation box in the home.
