Two hooded men armed with a screwdriver or knife pushed a female staff member against a wall in a late-night shop robbery in Lurgan.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of an armed robbery at commercial premises on the Lough Road, Monday, September 30.
At approximately 10.10pm, as a member of staff was in the process of closing the premises, two males wearing hoodies forced their way into the premises and demanded money.
One of the suspects was armed with what is believed to be either a knife or screwdriver.
One of the men pushed the female member of staff against a wall.
She was not injured, however she has been left very badly shaken by her ordeal.
The two men made off with a sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes.
Detectives would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Lough Road last night and noticed any suspicious activity or anyone who has information that could assist us with our enquiries to contact detectives at Lurgan on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 2139 30/09/19.
