A Lurgan woman accused of stealing over £120,000 from her employer will face Crown Court proceedings in the New Year.
The 49-year-old is alleged to have committed the offences between January 1, of 2014, and November 29, 2016.
Brenda Brady, of Belvedere Manor, appeared charged with five counts of theft by employee at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
The defendant, who worked at Alana Interiors, is accused of stealing in the region of £121,220 from the business.
Appearing via videolink from her solicitor’s office, Brady made no objection to the holding of a preliminary enquiry.
Prosecution submitted that based on the papers before the court there was a prima facie case to answer.
Defence solicitor Shane Donnelly made no contrary submissions.
District Judge Steven Keown said that he was satisfied there was a prima facie case to answer.
The defendant was released on her own bail of £500 to appear before Craigavon Crown Court on January 19 for arraignment.
