A Lurgan woman who stole nearly £100 worth of food and electrical goods from two local stores in one day will have to wait to learn her fate.
Kerri McAree, 30, of Victoria Street, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
It was heard that both thefts occurred on September 13, of 2017.
The defendant stole food to the value of £46.50 from Iceland and electrical goods worth £51.65 from Lidl.
McAree elected for the case to be heard at the Magistrates as she entered her plea.
Upon seeing the defendant’s record, District Judge Bernie Kelly ordered a pre-sentence report.
The defendant was released to appear on August 21 for sentencing.
