A 22 year old man has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent, two counts of threats to kill, three counts of assault on police, resisting police, criminal damage and possessing a medicinal product without prescription. He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, Monday 28 July.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in connection with an incident in the Hill Street area of Lurgan yesterday evening, Saturday 26 July, when a 19 year old man was threatened by another man.

The 19 year old man ran off and was not injured during the incident.
A 22 year old man was arrested a short time later on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent, assault on police, resisting police and criminal damage.
