E District Tactical Crime Team and Brownlow Neighbourhood Policing Team have arrested two people following the seizure of drugs.
Sergeant Alwyn Peters, Brownlow NPT, said: “We conducted the search of a house in Drumellan Walk on Tuesday night, 7 October. A small quantity of suspected cocaine and a quantity of cannabis resin were recovered. A 40 year old man and 42 year old woman were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and B drugs and preventing an NIE meter from registering electricity.
“They were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
“We can not tackle crime without the help of the local community and it is with your support that we are able to make seizures and conduct searches. I would ask anyone who has information about the sale or use of illegal drugs to contact us in Craigavon on the 101 number.”
