A 24-year-old man is due to appear before Armagh Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Friday) after being charged with 10 drug related offences.
The charges, which will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is normal procedure, include possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class C controlled drug with intent to supply, and converting criminal property.
The charges follow the discovery and seizure of drugs worth an estimated £20,000, and two suspected firearms, during searches in Warrenpoint, Co Down, yesterday (Wednesday).
A 23-year-old man was released last night, to be reported to the Public Prosecution Service.
